These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and the operator of PDG Adaptive ("PDG Adaptive", "we", "us"). They govern the PDG Adaptive app, the study banks and content in it, the website at pdg-adaptive.com, and every related service (together, the "Service").
By downloading, opening or using the Service, or by creating an account, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
PDG Adaptive is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or an official product of the United States Air Force, the Department of the Air Force, the Department of Defense, the Air Force Personnel Center, or any government agency. Nothing in the Service is official guidance, policy or an official test.
References to Air Force publications, grades and programs are used only to describe the subject matter a learner is studying.
The Service is a study aid. Readiness figures, projected WAPS scores, pass estimates, coverage dates and every other number it shows are estimates produced from your own study history and from published scoring rules. They are not predictions of any official outcome.
We do not promise or guarantee any test score, promotion, selection, board result, or career outcome. Your results depend on many things outside the Service. Always verify requirements, dates, eligibility and scoring against official Air Force sources.
Study questions, explanations, summaries, audio and other material in the Service are prepared from source publications and, in places, with the help of automated tools. We work to keep them accurate and current, but they may contain errors, may omit material, and may not reflect the most recent version of a publication. The official publication always controls.
If you find an error, tell us at support@pdg-adaptive.com so we can correct it.
You must be at least 17 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to use the Service or make a purchase. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.
You can study without an account. If you create one, you agree to give accurate information, keep your password secure, and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may refuse, suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or puts the Service or other users at risk.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial study.
You may not: copy, sell, rent, lend, publish, distribute or sublicense the Service or its content; extract, scrape or export the question banks or explanations except through the app's own export of your personal data; reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the app except where the law expressly allows it; remove notices or circumvent purchase, security or usage limits; use the Service to build a competing product or to train a machine-learning model; use automated means to access the Service; or use the Service in any way that is unlawful or harms others.
Full access is sold as a one-time, non-subscription purchase for a grade, and optional add-ons may be offered. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Purchases are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms, payment methods and refund policies; we do not receive or store your payment details.
The free trial lasts for the number of days shown in the app before it starts. When it ends, study, practice tests and mock exams lock until you buy full access; your progress and settings stay. Nothing is charged when a trial ends.
A purchase gives you a licence to use the purchased content for as long as we offer the Service for that grade, including updates we choose to release. It is not a sale of the content. Refund requests go to the store you bought from. Restore purchases with the same store account you bought with.
We may add, change or remove features, content, banks or grades at any time, for example when a publication or the promotion system changes. We may also set fair-use limits on costly features such as enhanced voices. If we stop offering the Service entirely, we will try to give reasonable notice, and your local study history remains on your device.
Your study history belongs to you. Our Privacy Policy explains what is stored on your device, what is sent to us when you use an account, and what is sent to service providers. You can export or delete your data from Privacy and data in the app.
If you upload or submit material, such as your own study documents or feedback, you confirm you have the right to do so and you give us a limited licence to store and process it only to provide the Service to you. Do not upload classified, controlled unclassified, For Official Use Only, export-controlled or personal information about others. You are solely responsible for material you upload.
The Service relies on third parties, including Apple, Google, Supabase for accounts and backup, RevenueCat for purchase records, and ElevenLabs for enhanced voices. Their services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. Enhanced voices are optional; the device voice works fully offline.
The Service, including its software, design, question banks, explanations, audio, text, graphics, and the PDG Adaptive name and marks, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Government publications that are in the public domain remain in the public domain; our selection, arrangement, questions and explanations built from them are our own work. Except for the licence above, no rights are granted to you.
If you send us ideas or suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or payment to you.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT IS COMPLETE, CURRENT OR CORRECT, OR THAT USING IT WILL PRODUCE ANY RESULT.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL PDG ADAPTIVE OR ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, CONTRACTORS OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROMOTION, RANK, PAY, OPPORTUNITY, PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so some of the above may not apply to you. In that case our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows.
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless PDG Adaptive and its owners, operators and contractors from any claim, loss, liability or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the Service, material you upload, or your breach of these Terms or of any law.
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from Privacy and data. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if required by law, or if we stop offering the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive, including those on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and disputes, survive the end of these Terms.

If a dispute cannot be resolved within 60 days, you and we agree to resolve it by final and binding individual arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act, administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court. YOU AND WE EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing contact@pdg-adaptive.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which the operator of PDG Adaptive has its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
If you downloaded the app from Apple's App Store: these Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, and to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for any product liability, legal or regulatory claims, or intellectual property claims relating to the app; we are. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
If you downloaded the app from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply to your use of the store.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, sale or reorganization. We may update these Terms; if a change is material we will tell you in the app or on the website before it takes effect, and continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
